Our Dendrons program introduces children aged 5 to 7 to jiu jitsu in fun and creative ways.
In this class, students learn good grappling fundamentals by playing carefully structured games.
Our approach to teaching is influenced by modern child development research, which increasingly favors learning through guided play over demonstrations and direct instruction (Zosh et al., 2017).
This keeps kids engaged throughout class and lets them connect with their peers, coaches, and the material effectively. Shorter class times help students in maintaining focus and look forward to every class.
The Dendrons program meets twice a week on Monday & Wednesday at 4:00 - 4:45 PM.
